Meet the team

An interdisciplinary team of epidemiologists and computer scientists working with clinical data on a daily basis.

Lukas Forer

Lukas is a researcher / software developer and co-leads the Askimed project. His goal is to build efficient and intuitive applications and constantly thinks about smart ways to improve and simplify Askimed. His open-source framework Cloudgene, developed in cooperation with the University of Michigan, is the backbone of several large genetic services managing terabytes of data from researchers around the world.
